DJ Proto J is a hero today to sneakerheads everywhere because he has brand new images of the Nike Air Yeezy II, the upcoming sneaker collaboration with Kanye West. And unlike the photos we have posted here before of Yeezy wearing the Yeezy II, these pictures are up close and really show off details that we have not seen before.
This black/pink colorway was found during a recent "Watch The Throne" show with Jay-Z. The Yeezy II features mesh on the toe box and side panels, snakeskin print on the upper, a glow-in-the-dark sole, and a visible air bag. While the shoe is not that much of a dramatic departure from the original Yeezy, it does look like a streamlined version that looks very slick.
No word on when these shoes are officially scheduled to drop, but stay here for more news on the Yeezy and other Nike releases.
Oh, and if anybody was wondering, Jay-Z was wearing the Air Jordan I "Banned."
